Hashimoto’s thyroiditis is the most common cause of hypothyroidism in the United States, accounting for up to 90% of cases. It is an autoimmune disorder in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the thyroid gland, leading to inflammation and damage that can eventually result in hypothyroidism, a condition in which the thyroid gland doesn’t produce enough thyroid hormones. Happy Friday! Here’s the latest Columbus restaurant news: Signs have gone up announcing the return of the Worthington Inn! Although details are scarce at this point, new signage on the side of the building offers a QR code where people can sign up to get announcements. The original parts of the building date back to 1831, and it served as a residence, an inn, and a restaurant over the decades, before closing up at the very end of 2018.
