Here’s your weekly roundup of Columbus restaurant news, including new openings, closings, and menu updates!
- Business First broke the news this week that Land-Grant Brewing is in the final stages of purchasing Nocterra Brewing in Powell and will open a brewery there. Nocterra abruptly closed its original Powell brewery and its Audubon taproom and restaurant in August. A couple weeks ago their website updated to say “Something’s Brewing.”
- Columbus Brewing Company’s holiday-themed pop-up Tracksuit Taproom is set to return on the west side starting next week Thursday, Nov. 5. After being closed for a couple years, the taproom opened last year as the holiday pop-up featuring their signature Tracksuit Santa Christmas ale. The return also includes their in-house food truck serving pretzels, poutine, sandwiches, and more bar snacks.
- This week Seventh Son Brewing, Antiques on High, and Getaway Brewing launched a new beer special called 3 Buck Tuk. Their Tuk Tuk lager is available for $3 all day, every day at all three breweries. If you you stop by to enjoy a pint, be sure to sample some more beers, pick up a six-pack to go, order food from their food trucks or The Pizza Box!
- Osteria Pizzeria opened up this week after being closed for a couple weeks due to tornado damage. Read more in my Columbus Monthly column!
- TRIO Burger has soft opened at 1329 Cameron Ave. in Lewis Center. Stay tuned for more details!
