Look good quality and easy to swallow capsule
I have long been an advocate of Magnesium supplements, so am sold on these before I have even taken them. Both my husband and I have taken magnesium powders/tablets/effervescent tablets at one time or another and swear by them to aid sleep – it works – and to alleviate night cramps. I have also found a good quality magnesium supplement definitely aids peaceful sleep.These arrived well packaged, they look like a quality supplement and, importantly, the supplement itself is contained within an easily swallowable capsule.What I cannot understand and, maybe ‘Ultra Lyte’ should clarify, is how much magnesium is contained in each capsule? I am guessing that the 2000 mg ‘per serving’ has to be per 4 capsules swallowed?120 in a bottle and, the recommended dose is 2 in the morning and 2 two hours before bed-time for a restful night, tablets to be taken with or after food. I feel that taking 4 tablets a day a tad excessive but do appreciate, if one is going to get the most benefit from the supplement these instructions should be followed. I am also concerned about taking 2000 mg where, generally, around 500 mg is the recommended dose. This is described as Magnesium L-Threonite so whether that makes a difference I do not know and believe, Ultra Lyte should provide clarification and, more detail about the contents of each tablet. I always thought magnesium was magnesium and did not realise there were different types offering different benefits so, do your research before purchasing.I am, nonetheless happy with these supplements – I did sleep soundly last night but it really is too early to say whether that was down to these supplements. I am generally a dreadful sleeper and so I will give these a good try and update my review if need be but, until that time I can only give 4 stars on the basis that it really is too early to tell if they do what it says on the box.
