Happy Friday! Here’s the latest Columbus restaurant news:
- A new coffee trailer called Cafe Stai Manso opened this week at 231 N. Fifth Ave., next to Ebb & Float in the Warehouse District downtown. They serve a small menu of espresso drinks plus signature and seasonal specialties. They’re open Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- A new Eritrean restaurant called Hidmona Eritrean Cafe opened recently at 1731 Brice Rd. in Reynoldsburg.
- FiLLi Cafe debuts at 9015 Columbus Pike in Lewis Center on Sunday, Feb. 15. They serve coffee, chai, and full meals like sandwiches and bowls.
- The owners of Shaker’s Public House in Worthington announced that they purchased the Hop Yard 62 beer bar in Grove City and will transform it to Dapper Dog Tavern.
- AJ’s Tacos announced that they are closing their ghost kitchen that’s part of High Street Kitchens at 2864 N. High St. AJ’s opened their first storefront on Sullivant Ave. in the Hilltop a couple months ago; they said they plan to reopen their food truck, too.
- La Poblanita taco truck in Clintonville opened for the season this week. They’re located at 3825 Indianola Ave.
- Le Meridien, The Joseph hotel has begun hosting the immersive dining experience, Le Petit Chef, where diners experience 3D animations on their table to go along with their dinner.
- Tickets are now on sale for Columbus Food Adventures’ February Supper Club on Feb. 26, featuring chef Damian Ettish of Fetty’s Street Food.
