Columbus Brewing Company closed its excellent west side taproom back in 2023, but in early November of this year they temporarily reopened it as a Christmas-themed pop-up called Tracksuit Taproom!
The Tracksuit Taproom picks up on the growing popularity of holiday-themed bars, which are heavily decorated and feature specialty drinks and events.
CBC’s temporary taproom is named for their signature holiday ale, Tracksuit Santa, which makes an appearance around this time each year.
Included in the draft list are different flavored versions of the ale alongside CBC favorites like Bodhi, Columbus IPA, pilsner, abbey ale, and many more.
You can also taste the original version, of course, will an optional sugar-crusted rim!
The flavored versions include options like barrel-aged, eggnog, peppermint, and others.
They also feature a small selection of cocktails and NA drinks, and they host local food trucks. We paired our drinks with a couple excellent pies from The Pizza Rover, which has swapped weekends with Tortas Gigantes.
We enjoyed the meat-heavy Meateor and the Milky Way with chicken, bacon, and ranch.
Tracksuit Taproom runs through January 4, so catch it soon!
You can always visit the CBC Beer Hall near the East Market as well – they feature a full bar and food menu!
