We’ve long known The Mochi Shop as a vendor at the Worthington Farmers Market, where they ply guests with a many flavors of mochi donuts. But earlier this year they made a home for themselves along the side of a small strip off Bethel Road, facing the CSX train tracks. And even better: they’ve joined forces with Coffee Coin. Donuts and coffee – what could be better?!

The storefront is located along the side of the strip mall, so as you pull into the parking lot, look for the signs pointing you to donuts and coffee. Inside you’ll find a pair of counters, one displaying the mochi donuts and daifuku, one the espresso cart from Coffee Coin.

The coffee menu ranges from cortados and cappuccinos to flavored lattes, hot cocoa, match, and more.

In addition to a nice little cortado, we tried the salted maple latte with cold foam – a bestseller and we can see why!

Hard to beat the gingersnap latte, too!

The Mochi Shop features a mix of fun flavors in both donuts and daifuku, smaller mochi confections with sweet fillings.

It’s really hard to go wrong with any of their flavors!

The Mochi Shop is open Thursday-Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Coffee Coin is open Thursday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday-Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Monday from 7-10 a.m.
