    • Not an almond milk fan? That is okay, you can substitute your favorite non-dairy milk in its place. I prefer to use coconut milk, but it sometimes overpowers recipes.
    • Salt and Pepper! Remember to season generously with salt and pepper, it helps to bring out the flavor in this dish!
    • Need more fluff in your potatoes? Gently mash over a low heat for fluffy mashed potatoes!
    • Not moist enough? We have all different preferences, if this mixture is too dry for you, simply add 1-2 tbsp of milk at a time until you reach your desired consistency!

    These Mashed Potatoes with Almond Milk are rich, creamy and flavorful! These comforting vegan mashed potatoes are foolproof!  

    Prep Time 10 minutes mins

    Cook Time 20 minutes mins

    Total Time 30 minutes mins

    Instructions 

    • Peel and roughly chop the potatoes.

    • Add the potatoes to a large pan of boiling water and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until fork tender, then drain.

      Chopped potatoes in a pan covered with water.
    • Return the potatoes to the pan and mash roughly.

      Drained potatoes returned to the pan for appropriate mashing.
    • Add the vegan butter, almond milk and some seasoning to taste. Stir to combine then mash until completely smooth.

      Add almond milk and vegan butter to the pan to make the potatoes fluffy - add the salt and pepper too.
    • Transfer to your serving dish of choice and garnish with some fresh chopped parsley and extra vegan butter (optional).

      The potatoes are nice and creamy in the pan and ready for transfer to a nice bowl.
